You’ve heard stories about police work.

You’ve heard stories about faith.

You rarely hear what happens when the two collide.

How I Got Here is a memoir about navigating undercover law enforcement and moral complexity without losing oneself in the process.

Written from lived experiences, this book explores the tension between duty and belief, danger and breaking rules, humor and tragedy. It does not glamorize violence or simplify conviction. Instead, it offers an inside look at restraint and the unseen cost of staying true inside flawed systems.

This is not a devotional. It is not a confession. It is a story about integrity. Being steadfast when no one is watching. Choosing a path when alternate justifications would have been easier. And living with the consequences of doing the right thing quietly.

This isn’t a story about the edge.

It’s about whether to cross it or not.

How I Got Here is for anyone who has walked close to temptation, carried responsibility without recognition, and learned that staying whole is better than giving in.
